What impact does adding specific job roles to my Career Desires have?

When you first join QuietAgent, the 'Jobs I'll Consider' question in your Career Desires is set to: 'I will consider any job'. This means that you have the highest chance of being found for a job by an employer using QuietAgent (provided you meet all their other requirements).

If you would like to receive lots of Job Invitations, then you can simply leave your 'Jobs I'll Consider' setting like this.

If you would rather have less (more targeted) Job Invitations, then you should specify the job roles (Occupations) you would like to be considered for. This narrows the types of jobs you will be found for, because employers or recruiting agents who are offering jobs that are not in your list, won't be able to find you.

You can add as many Occupations to your 'Jobs I'll Consider' list, and you can edit it over time if you want to increase your chances of being found, and would like to be receiving more Job Invitations.
