Tips for entering your Education Concentrations / Subjects

In the Education section of your resume, you should create a separate entry for each qualification you have gained. You need to enter your School or Institution (start typing and a list of available schools / institutions will appear). Make sure that the correct location for your institution is selected.

Our QuietAgent qualification lists are country-specific, so you will see a list of available qualifications for the country you studied in.

The QuietAgent concentrations / subjects are a global list - this means that the subjects you have studied can easily be found and matched by employers, regardless of the country you studied in. An employer won't need to know the exact name of your degree or diploma in order to find you - they just need to know what concentrations or subjects are important for the job they are hiring for.

Here are some useful tips for selecting your Concentrations / Subjects.
  • Start typing in the Concentrations / Subjects field, and wait for a list to appear. You may see a number of options you could choose. Please select the one that most closely describes what you studied. For example, if you type: acco

You will see a list of many different types of Accounting subjects you could pick.
  • If the name of the course or qualification you studied consists of two or more areas of expertise, please look through our lists and find them individually, and click 'Accept' to add them to your record

For example, if you have a Bachelors in Banking & Finance, type: bank and you will find 'Banking'. Click Accept. Then type: finan and you will see a number of Finance options you can select. Pick one that is relevant and click Accept.
You will see all your subjects listed in the 'Selected Concentrations / Subjects' box. You can click on radio buttons at right to indicate if any of them were your Majors or Minors.

The Other Results field can be used to provide any additional information about your qualification. E.g. "Awarded First in Project Management'.

Click the Save button to save your record.
