What does it mean if I have an Anonymous Public Profile?

QuietAgent offers an Anonymous Public Profile feature, which allows you to release your anonymous resume to the wider Internet (i.e. outside of QuietAgent) so that employers and recruiters who use search engines like Google or Bing can find you for jobs.

To control the settings for your Anonymous Public Profile, login and click on MY ACCOUNT. Scroll down to the section titled 'Anonymous Public Profile'. If you already have an Anonymous Public Profile, there will be a link showing you what your profile on the public Internet looks like. Click on the link to view your Anonymous Public Profile.

You will notice that your name and contact information is not shown. You are still completely anonymous, and are known simply by a 'Candidate ID'.

An employer or recruiter who finds your Anonymous Public Profile can register with QuietAgent to make contact with you about a job.

The benefit of having an Anonymous Public Profile is that you can have your resume exposed to a much larger number of employers and recruiters who are searching the wider Internet for talent.

If you would prefer not to have your resume posted in this way, you can select MY ACCOUNT within QuietAgent, then click on the EDIT link next to 'Anonymous Public Profile', and click on 'Do not make it public', then 'Save'.

Please note that if your resume has been indexed by a third-party search engine, you will need to wait for them to update their cache before your Anonymous Public Profile disappears.
