Why do I have to authenticate my email address when I register as a new user?

Email authentication ensures that the email address you are registering with is correct.

Organisations using QuietAgent communicate to their candidates via email, therefore it is important that your email address is correct. If your email address is incorrect you will be unable to receive important notifications.
