How do I enter my phone number?

Here is what you need to know about completing your phone number fields in QuietAgent (Phone number and Cell / Mobile number):

From the drop-down list, select the country that your phone is registered in. This automatically provides QuietAgent with the International Direct Dialing code (IDD):

e.g. USA = +1, Australia = +61, New Zealand = +64, etc. You do not need to enter this IDD again.

For fixed or land-based phone numbers, enter your area code in the field provided, without the leading zero (0), and then enter your phone number in the last field.

For mobile or cell numbers, simply enter your complete number, without the leading zero (0) in the phone number field.

You do not need to enter any hyphens (-) or brackets in any of your phone numbers.

Some examples:

If your phone number is in the USA, and is of the format +1-xxx-xxx-xxxx:

Select Country = United States of America (+1)
Enter your area code as the first 3 digits of your phone number (xxx)
Enter the final 7 digits in the phone number field (xxxxxxx)

If your phone number is in Australia, and is of the format +61 x xxxx xxxx

Select Country = Australia (+61)
Enter your area code as a single digit (e.g. Sydney=2, Brisbane=7, etc)
Enter your 8 digit phone number in the phone number field (xxxxxxxx)

If your phone number is in New Zealand, and is of the format +64 x xxx xxxx

Select Country = New Zealand (+64)
Enter your area code as a single digit (e.g. Auckland=9, Wellington=4 etc)
Enter your 7 digit phone number in the phone number field (xxxxxxx)
